catch the games on star sports, 4pm every saturday

oh yeah, and the kiwis are playing today at 4pm (friday) against fiji, to be replayed at 3am on sunday morning!

God you lot make me laugh. Never been a bunch of cockier or more self assured sports fans since christ played fullback for Jerusalem. As a Wallabies fan I just take pleasure at the WC in seeing you lot set yourselves up for another fall with your showboating! Rolling Eyes C'mon the lions!

Im BI, I go for the kiwis when they play anyone, and the aussies if they play anyone other than New Zealand. (i live in australia)

PS down go the lions, they will need to train a bit more if they want to play the full AB side.

Its going to be a good year, and they play most of the games, ahhh life is good.

Is anyone else getting no commentary on their (cable) Star Sports channel? I can hear the crowd, referee etc but nothing else. It's bloddy annoying!

Just play Thus Spake Zarathustra on repeat throughout the game, or Queen, We Are The Champions. Or run around the room and make the commentary and crowd noises yourself like you used to as a child. Use your initiative. You'll think of something.

jaganath69, jealousy is such an ugly emotion... you're just envious of our win-loss record, aren't you? Come on, there's no shame in admitting it (not much, anyway). 79 wins to the All Blacks, 37 to the Wobblies with 5 drawn. And the Wobblies have, in the past, resorted to pathetic acts such as including matches against teams like NZ Maori as tests - just to bolster the humiliating record books.

Oh, and perhaps an Australian can inform me about something... why do Australians like to sing a song about a suicidal thief before test matches? Does it remind them of their criminal past? Laughing

The problem for you kiwis is 90% of the population in Australia couldn't give two tosses about rugby...we all love it when we beat you but nobody cares if we lose because the importance of rugby in Australia is down there with tennis and soccer...sure we like to watch but at the end of the day it isn't really our national game.

However, you Kiwis think you are great if you beat the Aussies...well so you should have a better win/loss ration..it is the bloody new Zealand national game...you have to be good at something. If we made it our national game then we would be flogging your ass off...

Case in point cricket which has much more popular interest and participation in Australia...we flog the poor kiwis backsides.

We don't think we're great, just because, we know it Very Happy . With 5 times the population of New Zealand, you would think that Australia would be able to do better, though. World champions at games that are only played by a handful of countries (rugby league - essentially 5 countries, and cricket - 10 countries), what an achievement!! For all the Australian boasting, I somehow expected more...

And it's really strange... for all the belittling Australians do towards New Zealand, there is, literally, no-one Australians like to beat more than Kiwis. Lucky we are all still friends, eh?

mate I think you dont have a clue what you are talking about!
Aussies take the rugby seriously mate! and there cricket!
if you watch any rugby game in OZ you will see the stadium packed!
the pubs full of people drinking and watching the game..
now of course League is more popular becuase of the league but growing up in in OZ I went to MANY packed out stadiums and watched alot of rugby on TV..ITS a huge sport in OZ and when the KIWIS beat Australia its a big deal for us becuase Australia is always trashing talking kiwis saying how much better there are etc.. with a population of almost 20 million and Kiwis with 4million there is something to stoke about!
anyway the rivalry with the Skips and the kiwis is great! it makes both teams fight harder and the fans love it!
make the Aussie bring their A game dont worry about that! they DO care losing to the ALL BLACKS!
