I always thought wrestling was a little, you know, gay.

Ah yes, another "open-minded" liberal. Obviously you've never wrestled and I could call into question your manhood, but I'm sure you get enough of that every day plus it just wouldn't be very nice. Wink

Irony. Sarcasm. These are wonderful things, are they not?

OMG bob, that's sooooo funny! Did you come up with that all by yourself?? Oh man....whew! My stomach just aches from the belly laughs.

I think I got it from RSRef. Credit where it's due.

However, you ignored the point about the distrust conservatives once had for career politicians. The Legislative Branch is full of people, both parties, who have done very little with their lives excepts hold the office they have. The Dead White Males who devised our govt never had any such thing in mind, of course. It was envisioned as a form of public service like jury duty, a calling in which one neglects one's farm or real career for 2 or 6 years in order to help make some decisions to help the country as a whole.

Example : Al Franken has likely been making much bigger piles of moolah with his books ridiculing Rush and, I'm guessing, speaking engagements, than he would be able to net on a Senator's salary. It's probably something that is on his mind as he thinks about this

Minnesota elected Ventura and even though most people think he wasn't much good at it, they might do something similar with Franken, who knows, and the interesting thing will be that he won't just be goofing all over Minnesota, but rather DC, which a place that could use some serious bigtime goof, without a doubt.

Uhhh...Franken as a politician in Washington WOULD be a joke.

Ronald Reagan. Ahnuld Schwarzenegger. Yeah, real funny.

And a very, very bad one at that. One thing we don't need any more of are bad joke Democrap (your turn to laugh now bob) politicians.
