RR provides an important service for this board.

One thing you can't say about him is that he's wrong about something. There is always, always a link!!

My question is: Does he have any opinions of his OWN?????

I've seen him try to generate his own opinions and he's not exactly eloquent. So perhaps it's better letting him talk via URL storms

Some of his links are funny, when they're kind of random. But he also has this quixotic need to demonstrate he's living in some hell where foreign hagwon teachers aren't paid what they're worth. Oddly, he himself is an instructor at a university and paid considerably better than most Koreans, not to mention all hagwon workers. Further, if Korea had its act together one wonders if he or many of us would actually be employed here in any teaching position.

When asked why he doesn't simply leave, he never has a very good answer.

Actually, for old timers, those were the Anda days. Did Anda have any real friends; i.e. anyone know if still he walks the earth, or is he holed up in a bunker somewhere awaiting armageddon?

I take it RR is posting from outside the country now.

In a recent thread he prefaced his remarks with:

I agree. I read RR's posts because that's how I keep up to date with current news (well to a degree..)...

RR is cool. Leave him alone. I didn't vote because I don't agree with either of the statement.

I thought he had gone back to fish farming in Australia.

(or Ryst had him 'silenced' for revealing too many secrets...)

RR is like Fox News. He reports, I decide.

And I have decided that he most definitely is not fair & balanced.

Did he ever claim to be? I can't remember, but I think Lemon would know.

Geez. If he's not in Korea anymore it's like an ex-BF who stalks his ex-girlfriend. "Why did you break up with me! Why did you have male friends when you dated me! I want answers!" Does he run around his citiy's Ktown pasting print outs of his "white man can't get a fair shake!" links on phone poles?

Will RR be posting from the grave too?

I swear when I move home, that's it for Dave's. "I remember when I was cool and lived in Korea... you up 'n' comers know nuthin!"

Wow! You KNOW you've been here a long time when you remember Anda! Ryst hasn't been gone THAT long and still posts now and then. Speaking of "old timers", what ever happened to Rudy Flyer?

RR is an important and iconic member here. Every forum needs one (and only one) like him.
