Seems to be running smoothly now but it was annoying as hell at first. Evidently I picked up a bit of malware somewhere & damned if this noisy siren didnt go off several times a session informing me so. I followed their recommended procedure -- nothing changed. I tried to delete it umpteen times -- nothing changed. Adaware & spybot couldnt find it. I searched for it on my own & couldnt find it.
Eventually it seems to have just faded away. |
I run microsoft's anti-spyware as well. It seems to work, at least I think. One feature I do like is that it warns you and blocks any outside attempts to reset your browser (hijacking). |
