If you're really feeling nostalgic, check out some abandonware. Stuff that's no longer copyrighted, and therefore legal to share, because the companies couldn't bother to update their paperwork. Google for abandonware, or go to http://www.the-underdogs.org/
I suggest a fine piece of art called Star Control 2. You don't really need to be up on the backstory from the first release of the series, but the first one's mildly fun, too. You might have a bit of a harder time finding Star Control 2, though. |

The Underdogs is great, as is www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk they have some really good homemade games.
I reccomend The Clue, to anyone fond of adventure or strategy its the best game ever. |
