Looking at the meager statistics, I notice there are a significant number of guys with longer ring fingers, but the women are basically half-and-half.

If I were really married to this theory, I might suggest that it takes some cojones for a woman to move across the world and teach English in Korea, so our sample pool is skewed.

Hmm. Both my hands are masculine but my right had is noticeably more masculine than my left. Does that mean something?

Decidedly longer index fingers than ring fingers here, though I'm not sure I'd call myself a girly girl.

I have read palm for years.

The index finger indicates power and decisiveness, the longer the better.
The ring finger represents emotion. The longer it is, the more emotional and uncontrolled you are.
It should ideally be in balance with your index, and both should just reach the bottom of the nail of the middle finger.

A quick bit of information:

Forefinger/Index finger: Confidence, ego, ambition, drive.
Middle finger: Discipline, balance.
Ring finger: Emotional expression, creativity.
Little finger: Communication.

I dunno about this. The OP seemed more accurate for me. My ring finger is just a titch longer than my index finger and I am a tomboy (used to have season tickets to BYU football, and I refuse to wear pink Very Happy ).

The data is interesting, but I don't know what it means.
