Cheese curds and gravy on fries.
But if you want authentic poutine, you have to make sure the fries are a couple of days old and have been refried at least a few times.
The deepfryer oil should only be changed once a decade. |

| Sounds great to me, almost in the same league as a "large doner with salad and chili sauce, please mate" at 3am after a Friday on the piss. |

| Or a Belgian gyro and frites with curry mayo after doing yards of ale and staggering around Grand Place. |

Are you serious? Refried a couple of times? Wouldn't they be as hard as a rock and basically be sticks of lard? Sounds gross, but tempting at the same time. I'll check out Hyundai Dept. Store this weekend and report my findings. I'm surprised that Koreans would find poutine appealing, though. |

Why wouldn't they? They eat shit fed pig, bugs in a can, dog soup, and a lot of other total crap.

| Heh, good point, Ilsan Man. I'm just thinking that a) there are no cheese curds here (although there are mozarella sticks in the frozen foods aisle), and b) no foods with gravy (unless you want to count dun cass sauce as "gravy"). I'm just thinking poutine might be a little too foreign for the average Korean, but I'll have to see for myself. Seriously, I want to go hang-out around and see how much interest the place gets. I made chili once for my Korean friends, and while my western friends raved about it, my Korean friends could barely touch it (I had even made rice so they could put the chili over rice, ala Hawaiin style). Made tacos for an old boyfriend, and he said they were ok, but he could only only eat them once in a very great while. And no, it definitely wasn't my cooking that left something to be desired. On the other hand, my fiance loves my tacos. He lived in Brownsville, TX, though, on the border, and got used to eating $1 tacos from the guy in the taco truck. |

Ok, sorry but as someone from Baltimore (a 90 minute drive from NYC), and as someone who has been to NYC more than a few times...THERE IS NO POUTEEN (however you spell it) IN NYC!!! Its a canadian thing, why can;t you canucks call it "Toronto's own" or "Montreal's finest"? Take pride in your food stuffs! You don't see us bragging about yellowknife cheesesteaks |

| Aim your criticism at the correct people, please. Last time I heard, I had no shares in the company on my portfolio. |

| It was aimed at the right people- no one. It was a rant in response to the oddness of it all. |

Do you complain about "french kissing" just because it's not really French? |
