I'm not a fan of going out every night, or even every weekend and dropping 20,000 + won on alcohol. all i've ever gotten out of it was headaches the next day and a few extra pounds around the middle.

20.000 + try 100.000 plus....

That's what I thought when I read the OP too-
"I don't mind a wild night, but I don't want to spend like 23,000 every time I go out. Besides which, after two blackberry schnapps I get a bit woozy"

thanks for the info those of you who gave it. for those of you who decided to dog me for not spending enough on alcohol... 1) i'm a girl and it doesn't take 8 mixed drinks to get me drunk 2) my coworkers are into the buying pitchers of beer and bottles of soju and splitting where you can drink a lot for 20,000, 3) i said 20,000+ as in 'at least 20,000 and sometimes a lot more'

20,000 a couple nights per week per month adds up to over 150 American dollars per month. When I was 21 and into the drinking scene I could go out 4 or 5 nights a week and spend much less than 50 bucks a month due to ladies nights etc.

I guess if 150 bucks a month doesn't sound like a lot to spend on alcohol then you're probably not saving your money for anything important, like veterinary school. well i am.

peace
