It's an interesting idea. However, according to the consensus on Dave's, all western women are apparently harpies and leviathans, and all western men are geeky and (horrors!) rumpled, so I have a feeling this concept may not get off the ground

Really, though. Would you girls actually be up for dating the male posters on this website?

Actually I know of one couple that met off of Daves and ended up getting married!

Through KFF I dated a couple fanatical Korean Christian girls who I eventually found out lived in church shelters (or housing of some sort) for women. Neither was vegetarian - only interested in meeting me for my suggested "vegetarian dinner date" One was a pretty crazy "environmental artist" who made jewelry out of recycled junk - that clearly resembled junk - and who thought that the U.S. government should sponsor and award her a grant to save the environment.

The Christian organization in Korea (and worldwide) that runs the health food restaurants (usually called "Country Life") is the Seventh Day Adventists - and vegetarianism is part of their religious practice. I probably should go to their restaurants more often - if only to meet Korean vegetarian women - but their cooking is not nearly as good as the Buddhist Sanchon (or So-sim) or the (cult-run) SM Ching Hai...

Morally decrepit, financially destitute, psychologically destablized paleface with fondness for alliteration seeks same. Must enjoy long walks, moonlit skies, and spam dinners in my cave. Please be free of "issues" as they require "conversation" and earnest "human interaction" thus wasting precious time that could be spent on Dave's. Sexually deviant encouraged to apply.

Nah, we know this thread is just a sign that these guys have a "quirky" sense of humor. I've met a ton of people from this site and in general, they're less confrontational, and more attractive than their posts would have you believe
