I haven't watched a James Bond flick since he stopped being Bond. Couldn't stand the "newbies"!! |

| Roger Moore personified Bond. He wasn't some Superman... He was just really lucky. |

That's what I don't like about the Brosnan films: it's not just the "subtle" advertising for Visa, BMW, Omega, and other products; he's too superhero-like. |

Some argue that the best "BOND" movie was "The ROCK" ...
There is a reason for that ... |

| I knew that -- I thought you were going to reference some Hollywood secret that tied James Bond to Connery's character in The Rock. |

Come on, who seriously didn't think of an aging James Bond when watching that movie. At one point there's even a line about how he worked for Her Majesty's Navy, or something. His charachter was a british spy. I don't think they were implying that he was Bond, just 30 years later, but I think it must have been a kind of "wink wink-nudge nudge" senario. Maybe Bruckhiemer is a big Bond fan and thought it would be "where are they now" situation.
As for the poll, I have to go with Connery. He is the standard to which all other bonds are measured. I never liked Moore as bond, he just always seemed silly to me. My second choice would be Brosnon.

| Connery is my number one pick. He killed with class. Though I like "Live & Let Die", Moore was too over the top with his facial expressions. Brosnan was pretty good, though Dalton was pathetic. |

"Live & Let Die". One of the best, even without Connery in it.
Brosnan has been doing a great job but doesn't have the charisma points both Connery and Moore had.
Is Daniel Craig going to dye his hair? |

My family saw "Live and Let Die" at a drive in theatre when it first came out. (I remember us kids hiding in the back seat as we entered.) The movie scared the bejeezus out of us. Got home and in bed I turned on the radio and guess what song was playing? My sister freaked! Anyhow, I've always loved that movie. Very cool plot. |
