One of the teachers at my school went yesterday. She said the whole process only took two minutes. She asked the guy she was dealing with if they were going to call the uni's and confirm that the degrees were genuine. He said no cos that that would be too expensive. |
That's a nice point. But anyways they shouldn't need to call unis since after all every new teacher has to have their University send in sealed transcripts directly to immigration anyways, right? Or right? |

Because forging a stamp and an envelop is such hard work the illegals will be stopped in their tracks |

it is all window dressing to make it appear as if they are doing something, when in fact they are doing nothing except inconveniencing you and me.
That is absolutely no legitimate reason to reproduce info they already have on file. All of that is part of the application process.
and yes, the girl appeared to be a part time worker from a University. |

It's not extreme hatred it's just unreasonable for someone to complain about hard Korean immigration is when the complainer's is even harder.
No I do not expect any changes to UK immigration policy as it is already extremely hard for a non-EU citizen to get a work permit. Just as it is in the US. Much harder than in Korea ..... |
I used to work for immigration in Canada, so trust me when I say these are reasonable complaints. I'm not questioning the policy itself, but rather the manner in which it is applied. I really don't care that the whole thing is a charade to create the appearance of transparency and competence. What gets to me is that they are doing so with little regards to inconveniences that it creates for their customers. Would it be any less acceptable if the forms were sent by mail? |

| Apparently, the picture supports what I was saying in another thread. Foreign residents (F2-1 visa) simply don't have to play along with this charade. The form is for E2 holders. Since September 25, 2005, immigration is not concerned with the employment of foreign residents. Contact your local immigration office and make this point clear to them. |
WHY?
Why try to mess things up for anybody else?
At least some people (the F holders) don't have to play along with this charade, and you want to bring other people down? Why? |
Uhh, what? I'm confused. Who's trying to mess up what for the who now? |
