Good call EFLtrainer...
Yes, Steve Tyler of Aerosmith...
It's a give away for those who have seen the movie...his only one.
A newer movie...a sequel in fact.
The links are all high profile Wink

I've been having electricity problems, but I'm back to win at my own game (and I won't be using Cosmic Hum's incredibly short link)

Paul Newman -> Tom Cruise (The Color of Money)

Tom Cruise -> Ving Rhames (Mission Impossible)

Ving Rhames -> John Travolta (Pulp Ficition)

John Travolta -> Steven Tyler (Be Cool)

Cool

You can get a shorter sequence... but I cheated. Just a bit of encouragement to those who want to try. BTW, a clarification request: ar players expected to pull this stuff out of their own general knowledge or is research allowed?

I'd say general knowledge......I mean, who cares about the little cameo actors who only say a word, and appear in the background of lots of movies....That seems to be what the Oracle-Kevin Bacon site that was linked on here seems to do....It's just a fun game to see if you can connect them based on your own knowledge of movies and the actors who were in them....or you can look online and see what movies someone was in - if you're stuck - and then go from there.

so, it looks like I won the last one...I'll do the next one-

Danny Devito -> Keifer Sutherland

Here she goes. Dunno if it's the shortest, but I'm pretty sure it works...

Keifer Sutherland -> Charlie Sheen (Young Guns)

Charlie Sheen -> Forest Whitaker (Platoon)

Forest Whitaker -> John Travolta (Battlefield Earth - they don't necessarily have to be good movies, do they?)

John Travolta -> Danny Devito (Get Shorty)

Actually, Cosmic Hum, I didn't realize I could tie you until I started typing...and then I went into a trance, woke up, looked at the computer, and realized that I had tied you somehow. Smile Nah..not a taunt...'twas respect. Cool

You win, though..nice job with the Young Guns link. It's a nice intersection to go through.

Your turn....

ok...thank you Huck...my hat is off to you Wink

I'm going to stick with the actors better known as singers link.
I actually tried to think of some obscure links, but shoosh...not easy to do.
Anyway, have fun with this one.
Meatloaf
Bette Middler

I encourage you all to think in terms of numbers of 2 or 3. Most seem to be doable in that. Natch, I checked it... Even my aunt has a Meatloaf number of 3!!!
