I don't know, but you're supposed to show a passport to go to any of the south-western islands. Never spent much time off the east coast, so don't know about those islands.

Used my NZ passport as supporting documentation for my can one....

And use apparently passports are needed to go to jeju do Shocked

The word "no" can actually be spoken at any point in time (even if you are on someone's radar screen).

Having said that, I am happy to hear you did manage to get out of going. Happy Holidays! Smile

They ask you for your passport but they only want ID. An ARC is fine to get on the plane.

They ask you for ID whenever you get on a boat or a plane here. As a foreigner going to Jeju they'll assume that you're travelling to the fabled 'Hawaii' of Asia as a tourist so will naturally ask for a PP, the ARC is fine unless I got lucky, I took my passport but I asked if it's OK as I couldn't be bothered to go through my bag to get the PP and my ARC was in my wallet..

Good chance that you can get out of the trip. It must suck to be forced into working for free on your holiday Crying or Very sad
