Well thank you everyone for your responses. I have decided on the Istation v43 and was fairly confident my decision. Reading your last post right now jazblanc just kinda helped me feel a little more confident about my choice. Now all I have to do is drag my hungover self down to Yongsan today. I will let eveyone know how the player works out.
Thanks again

Replacement iPods may be new, used or refurbished.

They are not replacing your battery -- they are replacing the entire iPod -- with a used one! Shocked

You have had that iriver for a few months now sistersarah... nows it holding up for you? Also... did you purchase any new headphones with it or are you still going strong with the ones included?

it's great so far. i have quite a lot of music and photos and even a few videos and there's still tons of space left.
i'm using my own panasonic headphones and the sound quality is fantastic. i think the the h340 is bang for your buck. it's a little bulky, but i don't mind.

I've got the Cowon A2 and the Ipod Nano.

I use the A2 for video and the nano for music. Pretty much that's how it should be.

The ipods are not good for video.

The A2 is not good for cycling through songs, the clickwheel is a lot better. But the A2 has better bass and better audio.

Also the A2 is sturdier and it has its own case. So if you like buying iPod cases and Applecare get an iPod.

If you want to watch movies on the bus, get an A2.

So I have had the Istation V43 for about 2 weeks now and let me tell you this thing is amazing. The screen is big and very clear watching movies on it is very easy to do without having to squint. I got the 30GB model and added tons of movies and music on it and there is still so much more space for me to fill. The menus are in Korean but I can understand all of it pretty well even if I didn't know any Korean I would still be able to figure it out it is a very logical system it uses. With the product itself I am very happy with. Only problem is that I don't get many chances to use it as a video player. I don't take the bus or subway so I have no extended times when it would really come in handy. As an audio player its great but just a little too big to use as just an audio player. Thinking about selling it and just getting something smaller but not sure will probably give it a go for a while longer. So if anyone might be interested in one of these let me know becuase I might want to offload mine.

I just looked through the v43 manual and you can change your player over to English with ease. Just go into the 'Settings and Help' area and in the regional settings, select 'English' or ''.
