| I live in Cheongju, thus it rocks. Seriously, as waggo said, its pretty good. Takes 1 hour 20 from the terminal in Kagyong dong to Seoul bybus. PM me if you need to know more. |

Seems to be right by the station. Here's a school in Buldang-dong in Cheonan. That blue building right next to it on the far left of the map is Cheonan-Asan Station which is the one you take to get to anywhere in the country.
I'm not 100% sure but it looks like it's right in the centre.

That's the KTX station. It's an okay area to be in, but it's not the area to be in to take you anywhere in the country. The old (still functional) train station and the bus station are nearly clear on the other side of the city. |

I can visualize exactly where that school is. It'll be about 10-15 minutes to walk to the KTX station (the blue building on the left side--the scale is just a bit off and the station is actually further away than the map shows, if the major streets are drawn correctly on your map) and about 15 to walk to Lotte Mart.
I'm thinking it's further west than Kid's Herald/GNB/RedBank and all those hakwons. The Ju-gung 7 dan-ji apartment area is foreigner mecca with all the hakwons in those blocks. Maybe yours is a newer hakwon that's opened up? Anyway, Ssangyong-dong, that general neighborhood, is a great place to live in Cheonan. I lived someplace within that map area for my 4 years in Korea and really liked the neighborhood. |

Is that "old" train station subway line #1? Does anyone know where subway line #1 is in the city? Yeah, it is a new hagwon opening up... it's a CDI... and before you flame, the only reason I'm going down there from seoul is cause I got a promotion, I just hope I do well cause a lot of the responsibility is on my shoulders. And I hope I have a boss that pays on time Anyways.. if anyone knows where #1 in cheonan is.. please tell! Thanks! |

| Yeah, the old train station is where subway line #1 is. It's about a 4,000 won or so cab ride (I'm counting for standard traffic conditions) between the WEST gate of the station and the area where your school is. Just a rough guesstimate. There weren't any buses running to the west gate when I was last there (it was new), but there might be some now. |
