Still a few left--a couple more Jenga Extreme than Scrabble (although Jenga's the better deal, and I can give you some ideas on how to use it in your classroom to practice all sorts of English).

I'll take paypal if anyone prefers that.

I'm almost out of my Scrabble games, but I have a few Jenga Extreme games left. A great deal, since although you can get a Scrabble game for this price in Canada, Jenga Extreme is quite a bit more ($29 last time I was there).

My kids love Jenga and beg for it. I don't tolerate "time wasting" in class, so I had to be creative. Here are a few ideas I've used with my students.

Adults: You can write questions on the blocks that students have to answer (or ask). You can turn it into a "truth or dare" kind of game, too, so if they don't answer, or if the answer isn't complete enough (or if they make a "mistake" as caught by their peers), then they have to draw again. You can write different prompts on each side for different levels, so you could use this idea with kids, too.

Kids: I use an alphabet dice from my Scattergories game, but you can easily make a spinner on a paper, using a pencil and a big paper clip. Students roll the dice and have 10 seconds to come up with a word starting with that letter (for the very beginners). Higher level students must come up with a word from a chosen category (sports, foods, countries, whatever we're learning about), and you can even make them put it in a sentence structure that you are practicing (e.g., I'd like some ______. or I'm eating some ________.) . If they can't do it quickly enough (sometimes the letter is impossible), then they have to draw two.

Jenga extreme has 3 colors of blocks, so you can color code your spinner to make it more difficult (they have to draw only the color the spinner lands on)

I'm sure there are better things than this you could do, but it's a start.

Have fun!

Okay, this is the last time i bump this up . . .I think. Every time there's new interest, so I'm guessing there are two people who want the last Scrabble games.

Check out the Jenga Extreme, too. It comes in funky purple, green, and black blocks! It's about half the price you'll pay in Korea (last time I checked they were out of stock, though)and 30% cheaper than in Canada (GST+ rt airfare not included)! It's a fun game you can play to bridge language barriers with relatives, kids, potential girlfriends, bosses! A cool thing to do on White day with your sweetheart! It's more exciting than regular Jenga! It comes with a plastic carrying case! You can use the blocks to build cool towers--and then knock them over. Buy two sets and build even bigger towers!

In other words, please buy my Jenga Extreme games! Laughing
