Yup--she is ultra practical. She won't even let us buy her a used fan while we are staying at her house this month and using hers.
We had a heck of a time finding the gift she requested though. She had heard about this joint medicine from some of her friends and told us it was called gu-sam-gu-sam so we kept looking for medicine with 93-93 on the label. Turns out that what she wanted was medicine containing glucosamine, but that sounded like gu-sam to her. 
And just want to share the happy news that my parents came to Korea last week and met my MIL and hubby's entire family for the first time. Everything went really well and we ended up the night singing at a norae bang with a little drunken dancing. Good times! |
