For Jinju,
The oft quoted stats for world-wide math and science scores are bogus. Many countries, including Korea test their best students. In the US, the best students are generally left out of the testing. They don't want to take exams that don't count. The best schools refuse to participate in the testing. The scores compare the world's best with America's average. |

HAHAH suckers...
Im out of here. Today is done, there is no tomorrow, my only workplace obligation is a dinner on monday with the teachers at a swanky Apgujeong restaurant. Going back to school on March 2nd |
I hate you. I am told I have to go to school next week. However, I am currently negotiating to try and get two days off and have them deduct it from my salary. I am not sitting on my arse doing nothing for seven days.
I have already prepared my lessons for next semester! |

Well thank goodness that's over. I can't imagine what it would be like if my students were always like that. Next year I'm only showing DVDs. Apart from the graduation ceremony (during which some of the grads who knew the school had no authority over them anymore were horribly behaved) I can't think of a useful thing that got done this week.
Wouldn't this ever be a great week for surprise school inspections? |
