If thats true then good observation. The OP should beware of any Hakwon especially with 5 employees or less(not counting the driver).
This is because some of the Labor Ministry laws do not apply(only in the sense that the Labor Ministry will not fine the employer if say, they fire the employee in the 10th/11th month of the contract) to smaller size Hakwons.
I believe the reason no pension was mentioned is because
Hakwons with 5 employees or less do not have to pay into pension. |

I believe that changed years ago. All workplaces regardless of size are required to pay into pension. I think? that there is a way they can opt out(if the FT's homecountry does not have a reciprocating agreement) |
