I am so happy it got the ending it truly deserved.
It was a true fairy tale by how Dawn came back for Tim (whoever mentioned about the extra episode- thanks)

Sweet, that was the only episode I haven't seen yet. Confused

Are you an English teacher? You, who would nit-pick others at the drop of a hat.

What do you think of Steve Carrell in the American version?

I saw one episode of the American version but I don't think it compares at all. The English actors and scripts are far superior and funnier IMO, but I guess that could be because i'm English? Agreed about seeing the extra special couple of episodes that were made, brilliant, brilliant stuff! I can't wait to go back home (leave Korea, this weekend, OMG Very Happy ) and see some more class Brit comedy shows, I wonder what is new? YEY YEY YEY!

You have to give the American version more than one look! the pilot was exactly the same as the Brit, but since then it has it's own distincy "flavour".. The American version is brilliant.. you really should check it out..

The Office is great. I watched some of the American series too, but found it to be a little less entertaining. They should make a Korean version, or a hagwon version..

If you liked the office, you'll probably like this book. Click on the Table of Contents and Excerpt links.

It's obvious that British people will prefer the British version and Americans will prefer the American one. They're both good but I have to go with the American one because I can understand their accents better. Plus I like the supporting cast, although the UK supporting cast never really had a chance to develop.

By the way, The Office, like any nerd-friendly show, is readily available for download online.

Here's where you can get the UK series and Christmas special:

And here's where you can get everything humanly possible.

If you liked him in The Office ... look out for his stand up show 'Animals' on DvD. Absolutely hilarious. Laughing
