yes. The teachers treat me with respect. They address me with the yo form. If they don't, even though my Korean is very limited, I address them back in the same manner. If one of them were to question me about it, I would simply state, "do onto others as you want done to yourself".....It's a Christian school.
No problems thus far... |

| Generally, strangers use the 'yo'. At schools, if you are obviously younger than the other teacher, they may or may not drop the 'yo'. It all depends on the teacher and his/her position. Younger teacher always use the 'yo' when talking to older teachers, but don't expect the 'yo' back from the older teachers. |
