Joo Rip I wonder if it's ever going to be possible for you to make an argument in your own words.

Is there anyway you can get your point across without sourcing any number of articles that happen to support your own world view??

Just as an example I googled "apartheid" and "gaza" and got five articles saying there is an apartheid style system in the Israeli management of the Gaza strip, and five saying the analogoy doesn't hold up.

I've noticed that the "proof" you seem to hold so much stock in lies in selecting and quoting the articles that say what you want to believe.

I could do the same, but I'd rather not spend my time googling in an effort to prove - TO OTHER PEOPLE - what I believe.

And it is jut a belief. It's my opinion - and I know that.(Do you?)
In the same way that you believe whatever you believe. And let's be honest... it doesn't matter how many articles you source, cite and link to - they're not going to change my mind. If I do the same, I doubt very much you're going to change your mind.

why exactly have you got such a hard on for pushing the right wing party line??? Why do you spend so much of your time googling through the right wing rant journals for your "proof"??

Firstly, someone so preoccupied with proof and veracity might not want to try and misrepresent people's words when they in the same page so they can be compared.

Why would you quote me having said.

When people can look up and see that this was obviously not the truth.

OK. Well, unlike your good self, instead of glomming onto this obvious lapse, in which your making an editorial comment was mistakenly written in as being a quote, I can accept that this was a mistake.

I'll mention it to make a point. Obvious mistakes aren't worth bringing up because the debate get's lost in the nit picking.

So no... OBVIOUSLY I don't think EVERY Israeli supporter labels criticism as anti semitic.

And, yes nitpicky you got me again there you're not ducking debate by "calling me a troll"; you're ducking debate by making the 'troll' a bigger issue than it is.

BUT

I said I was behaving as a troll as a means of highlighting that the same tactics are used by SOME Israeli supporters. So you know it's ironic, satire ... with me??


And as I said googling away to swap links in attempts to "back up statements" isn't going to acheive anything. You're not going to change your mind. It's not likely I'll change mine. Then the argument moves to whose article has better credentials. It's a waste of time so let's not.

And to reiterate for those who just see what they want to see....
The statements to the effect that Israel are commiting a holocaust are emotioally charged terms to point out that Israel make emotionally charged terms when there is criticism of them.

My comment was SATIRICAL in order to demonstrate the fact that both sides engage in these little games.

It's irony genius - and if you need it explained (ie "backed up") then you obviously don't get it, or you deliberately neglect to acknowledge that in order to get some point scoring, name calling going.
