Happy to report that the heating pad on my face is doing wonders for the swelling. I can see my nose now. I might even buy one more for my ass after seeing cubanlord's video, even though my wife says its zit-free.

i was going to say hot compresses (very hot) and some anti-bacterial gel. not much you can do ...

One remedy I'd swear by back home on the occasional time I felt a spot might show was Witch Hazel. Simply apply a little to the skin. I've not seen it over here, but I've not looked for it either - when I spoke to another teacher though she didn't think it too far fetched that it would also be available over here.

Yeah, witch hazel works. I should shop for it once I am fit for public viewing.

Actually, I stopped the heating pad and went for a bike ride due to the drastic decrease in swelling. Came back home and the face-goiter has become surly again. Sigh.

Will try the hot-compresses next. This could be a weekend-killer.

Don't touch it. Seriously, don't touch to put cream on it, to put some hot pad on it, to satisfy your curiosity, for ANY reason. it will only make it angrier.

this is the best topic I've read in a damn long time!!!!

I remember one under-eye deformation that occured at the tail end of summer vacation. My mother obliterated it with a needle and when school started I became friends with a gymnastics babe who had injured her same cheek on the bars... fun times, those.

I've got a bunch of scars and have "a real good time" with acne everyday, the best thing you can do is ROCK IT!! After all these years I've realized that other folks are too darned concerned with their own petty problems to really notice and degrade mine (not to say a face goiter is petty, but put it in perspective) so many dratted people are too concerned with their own paltry pimple to put emotional stock in yr. epidermal cunge.

Kids on the other hand, are brutal. nothing you can do about their evil innocence, so run with it. Freak 'em out!! "it's an alien, on my face!!!! buwahaha!!!"

thank you cubanlord, i've been trying to find that second vid - the one of the dude in the glasses - since 1999. it's from one of the pantera home videos, and i remember it making a party of about 30 people cringe and shit themselves.

zits are great. i'd love to watch one erupt through a microscope.
