You assumed you were invited? How misguided...

There's a much better place with much better food at the COEX called UNO (I think) that has killer food. I'd recommend the potato skin pizza. It's basically a pizza filled with mashed potatoes, cheese, green onions and bacon topped off with sour crea. Damn tasty

having an undertermined about of people showing up at a very crowded restaurant at a very popular time with the idea of eating together sounds like a logistic nightmare.

u guys are all nuts. Cool

is this something like a 'flash mob' which was all the rage several years back? Twisted Evil

May 27th is out for me sadly, so you can jolly well arrange for another date! Very Happy

One possibility for the future is a Boshintang and Soju session. We don't have to get completely trashed on the latter and can do other thinsg too. My Korean friends have told me of a place in Seoul that has the very best Bosintang in Seoul. Expensive too at 20k! I keep forgetting to ask where it is though. Or, more likely, I've asked several times and always forget. I've tried the infamous B-tang several times and it varies a little, but in a good place - and been very hungry and drained before it - I've enjoyed it.

As the hot, vile weather comes, it'd be good to go to some, er, 'upmarket', famous place on the 'when in Rome' principle in my view. Some of the ladies might not be in to that (sexist assumption), but it'll surely be a big hit amongst the gentlemen? Maybe you don't wanna eat dog for personal reasons, but it's just a suggestion.

I'll go eat some dog with you some time. Wouldn't it be a hoot to get a crowd of westerners in there ordering it up. Owners might pretend they "ran out" or don't actually serve it.

I'll do doggy soup with you guys.

After 5 years in Korea I still haven't tried it. Never been invited by anyone.

I wasn't even in Korea two months when my hagwon's vp was inviting me along. He was really keen to see my reaction.

So let's go next month some time. Until then, I'm broke due to recent purchasing decisions. Surprised

the 27th seems too soon...lets' do it in june...

and, yes, that's the first line of my next poem.
