You're probably quite nice, but in her defense, I'd also rather watch TV than hang out with many a foreigner I've met here--I'm not sure that alone is grounds for weirdness... Cool

Oooh, lovely. Wink

This was pre-Korea. A long time before Korea. And a friend (who I considered a good friend, despite the skin eating fetish) I had known for seven or so years.

But I agree on the foreigner in Korea weirdness thing. Or maybe it's just me with the problem......

First one feels light. Oh, there's only a quarter left in it. And it was left on its side, so its flat now.

Ok. Am I reading this correctly? If you lay a bottle of beer on its side it goes flat?

Yes, carbonated drinks go flat faster the more surface area it is exposed to. I'm no scientition, but that's the theory anyway. I thought it was his way of passively aggressively screwing me, but I've since learned that not many people know (or 'believe', as the case may be) this little timbit.

Anyway, my other, nicer, roommate came home with a good friend and they brought beer shortly after I posted. So no murder...yet.

Next week you should bring home some of this stuff and instead urinate in it.

I have a better solution: Mix in a strong dose of laxatives.

So the question is this: Why didn't you tell your room mate to pay you the 15$ fot the beer? Or tell him to replace it?

A long time ago in a city far far away....................

I was helping out a family friend...he had moved to the big city and needed a place to stay while he looked for a job and out of the kindness of my heart...my buddy and I agreed to let 'Ron' crash on the couch until he could find a job.

For a month and a half he sat around the apartment, he ate our food, he drank our beer! One week we were planning a party....My roommate and I had gone out and stocked up on beer, chips, dip, snacks etc and invited a whole slew of people back for a party. Well the day of the party arrives and I got home from work first....there's Ron....passed out on the floor surrounded by boxes of chips, halfeaten hotdogs and ALMOST 3 FREAKING EMPTY CASES OF BEER! Evil or Very Mad and all the other snacks we had prepared the day before! What he didnt eat he had left out for hours and it was pretty much wrecked....he had also apparently puked at some point or another Evil or Very Mad Mad . When my roommate got home we were pretty ticked off....after kicking Ron around the apartment for a while(in a vain attempt to wake him up) we dragged him into the bathroom filled the tub up with cold water....dumped a couple bags of ice into it and threw the little bugger in. Turns out the little bugger had woken up...decided that one little beer wouldnt be missed and basically drank his ass off for the next 10 hours......AND!!!!!!!!!! the little bugger blamed us!!!!!!! For not telling him NOT to drink the beer or eat the food Rolling Eyes

This guy does things like show up for work 1/2 an hour late and blame his boss for not giving him a wake up call(when he worked at 4 PM-12PM)...when he got kicked out of another apartment for not paying rent...it wasnt his fault...he had more important things to spend his paycheque on..like beer Laughing he went to one of those rent to own places and signed up for a bigscreen TV, furniture sets etc and then had it all reposessed about 8 months later for non payment. He's not about 38 years old and hasnt changed a bit...I think hes on his 5 job this year alone Rolling Eyes

Anyway that was that! We told Ron he had to be out of the apartment and find a new place to live by the next weekend...he found another friend to sponge off of and got in even more trouble....if Ron was in Korea he would definately qualify for the wackiest waygookin thread!
