He doesn't need to post.
His photo says it all -it reminds me of those tribes that eat their vanquished opponents' hearts to gain their courage.
As a vegetarian, you can't do that, can you?

Both flotsam and myself are Buddhist, and neither of us finds it offensive.
What's offensive about it? They're just standing there.
Then again, you can see that Buddha is standing just behind the pilot and seems to be giving instructions, thus clearly demonstrating his leadership position. |

Talk about getting the wrong idea: When I first saw the image, I thought the Buddha was making an unsuccessful attempt to pick up the pilot. (For as we can clearly see, the pilot has a preference for pastel blue, and thus he would have his heart set upon Krsna.) My Bad. |

Anyone else here getting really sick and tired of the Buddhists on these forums constantly shoving their religion down our throats?
Why can't they be more like the Christians and the (whatever the hell R-teacher is... )!!!!! |

"Devouring" the opponent once the match is over is irrelevant. I have never had trouble chopping down tall, not-very-big guys (My only problem might be bruising my knuckles if I instinctively knock his teeth out... )
While the South Park picture per se is not particulary offensive standing alone as an animated slide, the way that God and representatives of God are irreverently ridiculed in their story lines is at least mildly offensive in its impact on children (many of whom will inevitably watch despite warnings...) It's like candy-coated atheistic propaganda. Of course, most adults (myself included...) appreciate the show's bawdy humor and sharp satiricle treatment of major organized religions and other social institutions...
Actually, Krishna, the original Supreme Person (Adi Purusa) is the only God shown in that picture. The other perfected beings are all empowered jiva (infinitessimal) souls with particular missions. Krishna (and His Vishnu expansions) are infinitely powerful. Buddha, Jesus, Mohammad, Moses, Confucious would all naturally bow down to and offer obeisances to Krishna, the Supreme Lord of all. |

Dude. Seaman is SO a god. You better watch out before he seeks retribution. You can't create your own little krishna korps without sea-men, stylie.
As for Confucius bowing down to His Blueosity, I believe he'd be more likely to:
1. Tell you how much more important is jen than jiva.
2. Illustrate this by pointing out your spelling.
3. Then say:
| Quote: |

To worship to other than one's own ancestral spirits is brown-nosing. |
And Bulsajo, I will be sending you some of our literature soon. |

Interesting. I never thought of it that way. That could explain why Krishna is looking nervous in the background. Maybe he's worried that he'll lose his companion to the alpha male, the Buddha.
Bulsajo:
Rteacher is a member of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). Most people call them "Hare Krishna"s because they like to chant, "Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna, Krishna, Hare, Hare, Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama, Rama, Hare, Hare.". They're to Hinduism what Jehovah's Witnesses are to Christianity.
Speaking of Hinduism ...

According to mainstream Hinduism, Krishna is Vishnu Incarnation #8, while the Buddha is Vishnu Incarnation #9.
Maybe you're just jealous because you have Windows 97, while flotsam and I have Windows XP. |

"Hinduism" is a term that is found nowhere in Vedic literatures, and it is a hodgepodge of many belief systems. Many of the Hindu groups that consider themselves "mainstream" are impersonalists who really don't believe in a personal God. Among the personalists, the Vaishnavas are most prominant, and ISKCON is a branch of Gaudiya (Bengali) Vaishnavism, and it is a fully authorized by disciplic succession including Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, who spread the chanting of Hare Krishna all over India in the late 15th century. Do I need to list all the glowing reviews by distinguished scholars of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami's books?
http://www.prabhupadaconnect.com/Prabhupadas_Books.html
Krishna is listed as the #8 incarnation of Vishnu in the list of scheduled incarnations in the Bhagavat Purana (aka Srimad Bhagavatam) Right after the list it is explained as follows:
ete camsa-kalah pumsah krishnas tu bhagavan svayam
indras vyakulam lokam mrdayanti yuge yuge
All the incarnations are plenary portions or explansions of plenary expansions appearing in various universes to protect the theists; but Lord Krishna is the original Supreme Lord and the source of all.
Srimad Bhagavatam, Canto 1, chapter 3,verse 28

It's a very complex ontological discussion of how Krishna is listed both as the source of all emanations and the 8th incarnation of Vishnu, and I'm too tired to explain it now (12:30 am...) |

Oh, it's not that complex. I just read all about it here:

The Supreme Lord Krishna exhibited His omnipotent and almighty universal form of innumerable faces and eyes, revealing innumerable miraculous wonders, decorated with innumerable, dazzling ornaments, armed with innumerable gleaming weapons, magnificently attired and resplendently garlanded, annointed with equisite, celestial fragrances; phenomenally astounding, unlimited, effulgent and all pervading.
Bhagavad-Gita, chapter 11, verses 9,10,11 |
