Don't wait for anything like Ttomcatz said. Go to the labor Ministry and file a complaint. You will probably need a Korean person. After you file you will have to go there 1 or 2 times before they send you their decision in the mail.
If you don't file a complaint the next foreigner will get screwed. All the people that say "forget it" are part of the problem in the Korean ESL industry. |

It might not be the wisest course of action to file a complaint with the ministery in his case. If his employer claims that he is using illegal drugs he may end up having to take a drug test. Given the info in this thread I would say it is the last thing he wants. |
