Sometimes i am having my lunch with my coworkers
to be social ( twice a week) there are restaurants nearby.
Then i have the usual stone bowl bibambap
The rest of the week , i bring cold pasta or sandwiches
from home . Emart's bakery has green tea bread or just
brown bread . I stuff this with salad , cheese /mozarella,
tomato , smoked salmon or olive tuna .
I don't eat meat . I also bring yogurt or fruit salad , really yum |

I just had some steak and frozen veggies with an apple.
This week I've had:
Thai Red Chicken Curry on a bed of thai noodles.
BLT salad and a fat-free yogurt for dessert.
Trail mix bar and raisans.
I do have the luxury of a microwave so I just stick whatever I want to eat in a lunchbox and take it to school. |

Nothing but the number for the pizza place.
Actually, I sometimes bring fruit, yogurt, or milk for a snack. My co-workers are big on sandwiches and salad. |

| Thanking heaven that a Subway sandwich shop opened near my school. I dig Korean grub, but I get sick of rice and soup-based meals everyday. Nothing dynamic about it at all. |

| I like eating in the school cafeteria. The best thing about the food is all of the vegetables. I don't thing I'd be eating nearly as many vegetables if I had to wash, cut, and cook them myself. |

| I've been eating at our 'professor's cafeteria' regularily (5-7 meals a week) since last session. It's typical Korean food (rice, soup, usually fish, and different side dishes every day). It's hit or miss, but I don't mind. It's fairly cheap (3,000 won), though I can see others in this thread can eat for less. More than anything, it's convenient (2 floors above my office). I used to eat at the nearby resaurants, but I found I wasn't eating very healthy. I try not to eat too much rice, and load up on the veggie side dishes. That way I still leave the table full, but I haven't eaten too much carb-rich rice. |

I didn't snap I said it in a humorous tone. She thought it was pretty funny too. I'm not that rude, I just wanted her to know that the questions she was asking were kind of silly. I didn't give any smartassed comments when they asked me my favorite Korean foods. I wasn't offended by the questions, I just found them to be overly obvious. |

| If you're not supposed to drink the tap water, how is eating veggies washed in it okay (e.g. salads, Subway, etc.)? |

Relax, the water wont kill you outright.
I wouldnt advise glugging it down by the glassful though. |
