Ready, Steady, Cook taught me that Northern (perhaps Eastern) English farmers let the pigs rut under the apple trees. Then, in the fall, they'd kill a pig, pick the apples, and have a big meal. Apparently lots of farmers had pigs, apples, and little else to eat.

My question: What is the deal with Febreeze? Does it actually absorb/somehow destroy odour, or just mask it with its own nasty scent?

It is an upgraded version of petruli oil...and thus just a cleverly made somewhat less nausiating masking agent....

Why do some foods seem to taste the same as their smell? ie: LIVER
