Yeah, there were always stories of those guys, (Messier, G.F., Gretzky, MacT, Lowe and Glenn Anderson) doing weird stuff in clubs and bars. As far as I know, they were all knee-deep in blow, though Gretzky not as much.

I've hear that his wife treated him like crap and not the other way around. But I haven't ever heard that Gretzky was anything less than a gentleman when out and about in the city.

hey hey hey! I am American and I love the Oilers. Not a big hockey fan till I met some very cool Canadians from Alberta. One of them introduced me to hockey and in fact had to wear a Canadian hockey jersey to work for a week cuz I lost a bet on the winter olympics.

So go Oilers.

Listening to the hockey game on the radio was much more exciting than watching any world cup game on TV!!

Wow! Was it!!?? Good for you!!

I always wonder about the self-esteem of anyone who can only show support for one sport by denigrating another.

But you enjoy your radio and your individuality. Go you!

Such a typical smart a$$ DavesESL response. Great job!

Apparently its open season on soccer, but say something bad about hockey, and see the indignation rise.

Good old North Americans.

So two idiot comments make a right?

It's stupid all around. I don't care if it's soccer, hockey, or arm wrestling.
