and as far as the season not meaning anything,the schedule is made to add meaning, because you play the other teams in your conference much more than the other conference. that way, if you lose those intraconference games, you lose ground on the other teams. not to mention how exciting it is at the end of the season when 3 teams are fighting for the last playoff spot.
furthermore, i find it kind of anticlimactic to just end the season with no playoffs. the fact that the team could be eliminated adds to the rivalries and the overall fun of the game.
you know, i always find it funny when people can be such devout followers of one game, and absolutely abhor other games. I am not a huge fan of soccer, but i do enjoy watching it sometime, and i would never tell a bunch of fans of soccer that their game (or their continent's leagues) are useless. maybe you should practice a little more tolerance, or find something to do in your spare time. besides trolling internet forums, of course.  |
