I don't really think most Koreans even expect foreigners here to be rooting for Korea during the World Cup. When I wore red during the Korea-Spain game, the Koreans around me seemed more shocked than anything else. They seemed to think that as a foreigner I'd have to be rooting for Spain, even though I was living here.

I guess they really thought it was Korea against the rest of the world.

At any rate, I see no reason to lose any sleep over it.
