WHAT A KNOB!!!!

ooh yeah portugal umm yeah
germans OHH YEAH!!
umm yeah well france yeah!!
ohh the italians yeah yeah..ummm
the cups over for me..
mate the cup was over for you before it even began!!!
isnt there a hockey game on???

I don't nationalistically support Brasil or Spain. I support them because enjoy their style of play, generally like most of the players, and have some fondness for their respective countries.

I wish Portugal all the best - especially with Scolari at the helm. Wish we'd had him in Brasil again this WC. Perhaps that solid leadership would've improved their over-all poor quality.

The German crew just doesn't do it for me. I have a number of faults with many of their players.

Henry's histrionics ensure that I cannot support the French team.

Etc.

I don't feel the need to repeat myself.

Good luck to the remaining teams, but I have no interest in any of them.

Hockey likewise holds no interest for me.

Namaste.

Please show me where I have whined. Indeed, I have mentioned several times that Brasil deserved to lose their match. They played poorly and got beat by a much better all-around team effort.

So by your estimation I should continue to feign interest in a sporting event in which I have no legitimate interest, simply out of some misguided principle of ? ?

Sorry, if I have no interest in who plays or who wins, I've got more pressing matters to occupy my time.

But, undoubtedly you do not. Different strokes...

Namaste.

I thought you were a fan of the French for a while when I saw how happy you were when they scored that first goal against Korea. For me to support a team that much just because I didn't like the other one I would need a team a bit stronger than Korea - something boring like Brazil that always gets to the end. I'm glad France is doing well simply because I'd been feeling bad for Zidane after the game against Korea that could have been his last one ever.
