I agree with Jinju here. Maybe I should retract my voting him/her for the worst troll award. Methinks it is now Worldwide.
North Korea doesn't have the fuel supplies to conduct a war for more than 1-2 days. They don't have enough food either. They could totally obliterate Seoul with their 14,000 artillery pieces. Kind of a scorched earth policy if you will.
One thing is totally clear though. North Korea has the potential to destroy Seoul where 40% of South Koreans live. The Artillery pieces are well dug in and would be almost impossible to remove with air strikes. That is where the only serious threat lies.
Ah, only seven months and I don't have to worry about KJI having a bad hair day and deciding to doom Korea to oblivion forever. Japan or Vietnam looks pretty good to me about now. South Korea is totally unprepared for reunification and the destruction of Seoul would make it far, far worse. Yikes. |
I read somewhere that if war did break out, the US would use tactical nukes on the DMZ to effectively melt all Nork artillery. |

Well, it looks like we could be screwed either way then. Bombed into the stone age or having tactical nukes dropped on our doorstep. Choose your poison. I also don't think they could nuke them before they all fired at least once. I also seriously doubt they have the position on all the artillery pieces. Japan or Vietnam looking more appealing every day |
