Wiki says: A "Happy Meal" is a meal specially tailored for children, sold at the fast-food chain McDonald's since June 1979.

I guess I wouldn't have been interested in a happy meal at that time of my life. I think that was close to the time I was trying to find a happy drink. Aha!

I don't remember happy meals as a child. Maybe I'm that old that they didn't have them back then. Maybe I was deprived as a child. Suddenly lack of happy meals could go a long way towards explaining a lot of things that have happened to me. I must consult a shrink to see if there's a connection. I think there is. Thanks for bringing this up. Perhaps there is hope for me after all.

You're welcome pegpig. I think you are definitely on to something here. This may have saved you hundreds of dollars in therapy. My god, a childhood with no HMs!? We were poor-as, but at least on birthdays or after a ball game, we made that wonderful pilgramege.

Free big, fat ass huh? Well shit. I'd believe it about the Aussie burger that has nudged out the previous special burger, the Mexi Burger. The Aussie burger is a patty shaped like a shoe. And on it is 'peanut sauce'. What the hoot has peanut sauce to do with Australia? Because it's high in calories and, I've heard, Oz has a lot of huge fatties who've a taste for the fattiest stuff on earth.

i've never had a happy meal. i mean, i've had happy meals, just not a happy meal. but i grew up on an island. and the nearest mcdonald's was 14 hours away.

plus, dad didn't like for us to eat 'junk food'....mom would bake up some fries, or make a pizza if he was out of town sometimes. oh, the good times.

i like mcdonald's breakfasts...shame they don't do them here. i used to love a good chicken mcnugget. i have the fish burger now and then, being a lame assed vegetarian in this country. whatever, it tastes alright, and brings comfort.
