It's the Bo Rap for me!!

I got a little turned off Radiohead after watching that documentary Meeting People is Easy. Thom Yorke seemed in such pain anytime a camera was in front of him. He would grimace and wince everytime he was asked a reasonable question. He seemed to be about to have a nervous breakdown due to tour stress. I kept thinking.....So why does he do it? He doesn't have to. He's rich. They could "do a Beatles" and retire from touring to work in the studio exclusively. Thom seemed in so much pain.....I could only surmise that he actually didn't mind it so much or he actually enjoyed acting miserable. Either way, it made him a poser.

I still love the music though.

He's one of those pompous pricks for whom life has to be painful because you know, he's such a "tortured soul". Fucking *beep* should get a life and maybe see what really unfortunate people have to go through. All that bullshit "angst" and the guy isnt even a real artist.

The only worthy argument so far.

I'd have voted for Queen's Tie Your Mother Down over PA, but it's Radiohead, Radiohead, Radiohead.

I'll go with PA. I love the middle part - so peaceful.

When I am King you will be first against the wall, with your opinion that is of no consequence at all.

In the words of Shakin' Stevens "Lovely stuff."

Well put.

I have no idea how anyone could listen to them.

I forgot pompous and void. Full of hot air. Yorke's head is simply a hot air balloon. Im surprised the double-digit IQ loser hasnt floated away yet. I hear the moron made a solo album. Holy crap, can you imagine listening to an album done 100% by that brainless, pompous twerp?

Karma police, arrest this man. He takes photographs. He buzzes like a fridge. He's like a detuned radio.

Paranoid Android is a cooler song, but the singer for Radiohead would get destroyed by Freddie Mercury if he were still alive and they competed side by side in a singing contest.

I think all Radiohead albums are unlistenable if you try to listen to an entire album at once. Each album has a couple of brilliant songs, but the rest of the albums are full of boring songs. Queen albums, on the other hand ARE listenable from track 1 to the last track.

I find myself begrudgingly agreeing with Jinju. BR is much better.

i dont think the argument that thom yorke is pompous works when a comparison is made with queen. A night at the opera is pompous, pretentious shiite compared to the thoughtful, often understated OK computer.

PA is a work of genius. BR is a novelty record.

I don't know about that. As much as I love PA (and I do) you can't call a song that's been popular for as long as Bohemian Rhapsody has a "novelty record"...sing along classic, maybe....

Thome Yorke, meet Kurt Cobain. The two biggest blights on my generation!

ok please nobody kill/flame me but....

Who the *bleep* sings paranoid android? I have never heard of this song, but then again I stopped listening to popular music about '93 with the advent of grunge. So of course I voted for Bohemian and Queen. Freddie was a great singer and had a wonderful arse Smile

But then again I have Queen videos on my computer so go figure:D

PA is a song no one knows apart from some guys who think listening to pompus retards like radiohead makes them "kewl" and "elite". BH is a classic, a song everyone knows and a song that will go down in history as one of those antnems of rock. PA will go down as .... nothing. To go down in history one should first be noticed. Radiohed arent. Their whole OK Computer was a failed album. The worst kind of art is art no one gives a rats ass about. Thats Radiohead.
