We never had a problem with one-way tickets once we have arrived but we know people who the airline would not let board the plane. |
I think part of the reason is that the airline can be fined if they let someone arrive in country X without the propper visa. |

In Sept. my husband flew into Korea from SFO with a one way ticket on Northwest air - no problem.
In Oct. I flew in from SFO on United with a one way, no problem.
We did not have any proof of employment. No questions, nothing. |
