Domestic flights are cheap!
In fact, it was about $30 Can to go from Bhopal to either Delhi or Bombay last year. I was in India for about 3 months from Jaisalmer to Mangalore in the South.
Don't let them rip you off because you are a foreigner! The first flight I took, they made me pay an extra $100 just because.....
