You've been in Korea too long when you know all the Korean slang and swear words, and you like to move away from the potty mouths. You also laugh with the Koreans when they use slang. |

Or, possibly, when you finish the sentence 'you've been in Korea too long when...' with "...you post threads asking people to finish the sentence 'you've been in Korea too long when...'"
I think I've been in Korea too long. |

You keep your eggs at room temperature.
You can't wait for the kimchi in your fridge to turn sour.
You don't mind having a vicious chestcold so much because you can just hoark in the street anyway.
You start showing your Korean friends where the good Korean restaurants are in their own neighborhoods.
You watch a video set in Scotland (no offense to the Scots, but there are a lot of words in brogue I just don't know), and the Korean subtitles help you follow the dialogue.
Your Korean handwriting looks neater than your English handwriting.
You ask for kimchee in restaurants when it isn't given to you.
You get upset when non-Korean restaurants don't have kimchee when you ask for it.
You call a stick figure a "zolaman".
You think softserve ice cream looks like poop.
You pour drinks and give things with both hands when you go back home. |

I guess I must have been here too long because I had to look twice before I saw anything unusual about that name. Or maybe I've just led a sheltered life.
By the way .... how about the clutch [on some 125 cc models] with the brand name "Bum Ah" ? |

...when the thought of going out for an evening of fun and not being able to order a drink after 2am is inconceivable.
...when said night is not complete without a trip to the noraebang.
...when you think Cass is really not such a bad beer.
...when you hit a club and think "There's too many foreigners here."
...when you start liking the taste of the soju in the big plastic bottle.
...when your friends back home talk about the "late night" they had that lasted until 3am and you think "wimps." |
