Divorcing
"There are cold-hearted parents who send their children to orphanages," Judge Kim Sun-heum of the Seoul Family Court said. "Some people bring their children to their former spouse's home secretly and leave them there."

Wife Charged With Taking Revenge
Yangcheon police station in Seoul requested a warrant for the detention for a woman named only as Ms. Lee, 39, on the charge of mutilating her husband's genitals on Sunday.

According to the survey, one out of five spouses don't look forward to coming home. Some husbands say it is because they hate their wife's nagging. Others say they want to drink with colleagues. Wives say they don't like their husbands and educating children is too much of a burden.

The survey also revealed that young couples' attitudes toward sex are very different from the older generation. The professor said that one out of three couples have sexual relations before marriage.

The National Statistical Office announced that last year 330,000 couples married and 120,000 split in Korea. Almost one in three marriages will fail. The divorce rate already has surpassed those of developed countries like Germany, France and Japan. People say it is impossible to figure out what goes on in a marriage just by listening to one spouse, but evidently these days married couples lack the patience to ride out the difficulties that arise in marriages. A social system that can minimize the negative side effects of divorce needs soon to be established.

Women aspire to be housewives without any of the housework
Mothers are rejecting equality in the workplace and prefer the idea of becoming full-time housewives - but not ones who actually do housework.Instead they want to play the "role" of housewife with a little help from, for instance, a nanny, and someone who does the ironing. And unlike Kylie Minogue, they don't want to do any dusting either.
The report, by Marian Salzman, chief strategic officer of Euro RSCG Worldwide, the world's fifth largest advertising agency, describes these women as princess-style "domestic divas" who effectively exploit their husbands.

Whose Baby? - Who's your Daddy?

From a survey of 5000 women in England, Wales, Northern Ireland, and Scotland:
Half said that if they became pregnant by another man but wanted to stay with their partner, they would lie about the baby's real father. Forty-two per cent would lie about contraception in order to get pregnant, no matter the wishes of their partner. And an alarming 31 per cent said they would not tell a future partner if they had a sexual disease: this rises to 65 per cent among single women.
The survey questioned 5,000 women, average age 38, across Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
