Yeah, what's the point? May as well go with the real deal.
But be sure and use the low-sodium variety for all its proven health benefits.
I'm really not keen on this switching foods around to make them taste and look (though not really) like a totally different animal/food. I had this pet theory that every food item on the menu at McDonalds was actually the same substance, and they'd just swap moulds and colouring for, say, McChicken Burger or Big Mac or McFish Sandwich (not sure of the names). You want the chicken burger? Okay, we'll just squeeze a fixed amount of McSubstance into the McChicken Burger mould, press, heat, and presto! |
