Deodorant runs about double in price. IMHO, it's worth your luggage space. But I find 1 stick last me a month. I'd bring 14 max.

Meh, say what you will, but on an anthropological/biochemical standpoint, wearing deoderant is just dumb. Many people says that they wear deoderant so as not to repel the opposite sex, but the fact is that pheremones are released from the sweat glands. Admittedly, that arguement may not fly with some, but I would argue that unless one has a serious B.O. problem (requiring a shower) or is incredibly neurotic, then wearing deoderant is just silly. Back to the main point of the poster, Poster, unless you are wearing it for yourself, don't worry- Koreans don't wear it either.

I dunno. If you ever rode a bus in Toronto during summer, you'd wish everyone used deodorant or antiperspirant and erred on the safe side. Koreans don't work up much of a sweat but the same can't be said for all use whiteys. In summer I travel with deodorant and baby powder.

Yes pheromones might have certain attractive properties but in a complex society, there are other important cues to go along with those pheromones. Nudity provokes, typically, a positive response in a bedroom. However, because nudity is enjoyable, this does not mean we all want people bellying up to the buffet in the buff. I enjoy the scent of a woman... down there... but I enjoy it during actual sex. I don't necessarily want the guy sitting next to me on the subway smelling like that.

Meh, its probably cultural anyways. I spent alot of time in Africa, and even more time in the rural USA, so floral scents under my arms always striked me as an odd thig to do. Furthermore, I may be a freak, but I think the smell of sweat (not old BO) is a good thing.
