After having used several canon digicams recently, I would never ever buy one. Overrated.
Sony--I hate those *beep*. Good Lenses though.
Panasonic Lumix--Best Lenses available on compact digital cameras.
Nikon and Fuji--can't really go wrong with either of these. |
Panasonic Nice lens, but Noise!!!
Canon or Fuji for compacts. Pentax for waterproof compact. |

| i had the sony cybershot 6mp digital camera, it inexplicably died after about 3 months . good luck. |
Sony will fix it for free. I have broken my cybershot camera twice (my fault both times). I took it to a Sony service center and they fixed it for free both times. I like Sony. |

Enjoy the camera. You paid a good price.
My camera is a 5.0 megapixel Olympus, and it takes fantastic pictures. I bought it 2 years ago for $220.00.
Some people can take great photo's with a camera that has 3.0 megapixels, while some people take lousey shots with a camera that has 8 megapixels.
Just make sure you save your pictures to a site like Shutterfly or Yahoo! photos. I have had my computer crash and lost all my pictures. I was not a happy camper. |
