SO how is that pronounced? Be on tae? And if i said that to the dirty scum that stand and stare at me on the trains - would it make him go away? Or should I add more to it?
I would also like something to say for the following occasions:
1) Standing alone, waiting, and an ajossi - drunk or sober - comes up and tells me how beautiful i am, etc, and then starts stroking my arm - would hajima work? Or do I need a stronger phrase?
2)When people, particularly men, come up and demand to know where i am from, if i am married, where i live, does my $hit smell, etc. What can i say that will translate to: piss off, it is none of your goddam business!

Byun(like bun)tay. I think that's the most pronunciation-friendly romanization. But you might wanna take a cue from Corporal and add in "Na bojima" to get the "stop looking at me" point across.

Mahn jijima. I think it's "man". It means "don't touch me".
I dunno about the last part. It's not necessary to be rude about that one. "Answer" as a verb appears to be daydaphada, so you could probably just say "I don't want to answer that". Which is.....ummm.......uh oh. *has to go home and check* |

Thanks - those are good. I will practice them. Those men really piss me off. I guess coz i know they would not do that to a korean woman.

Here's one that you can use on those ajossi:
juh-ri ga
or
juh-ri gayo
depending on how polite you want to be (the second one is the more polite one).
They both mean "Get away from me/Go away". |

have to really accentuate the "joe part"
also sounds like:
go joe / kko jjo / kko tzoe / ggo jzo
am i confusing anyone else, cause i am thoroughly confused myself, i find it easier to pronounce things straight from hangul, although i am writing down some of the earlier sayings to ask friends to write out in hangul for me |

Anyone know the meaning of "Jool", you know.. the 'KIN' thing?
I've asked several adult Koreans (just out of curiosity!) and they claim never to have heard the word, so I guess it's a yoof thing.
