| I was stopped from going because of rain. There are some parts of the wall that are more impressive than others. We were planning to go to Jinshanling. |

We went to China last May and hiked up a section not too far from the Ming Tombs. There were no chair lifts (and if there had it would have been awefully tempting). It was drizzling rain, but we still hiked up quite a ways.
I can't imagine walking it the whole way, but it would have been fun to try to go up and over to the other side. I'd have to be in a lot better shape to do that. Maybe next time. |
