Great movie...just watched it...although slightly disappointed with the ending, as someone mentioned before, I too was left wanting more.
LOVE LOVE LOVE Clive Owen! |

| Decent movie -- 3 stars. I don't think it really explored the true milieu of a world without children, more like just another dystopian future. Killing off michael caine was a drag. In every dramatic movie of this sort the likable side-character has to be killed off? The ending was frigid and brittle. Still, a sad and hopeful movie. |

| I hate movies with a message and I much prefer escapist trash. Thanks for the heads up. I'll skip this one. |

Your post made me think of 'Little Children' which I saw last week. The story is quite different than Children of Men, I suppose, but it's a good movie too. (I call it "the better version of American Beauty.") The movie revolves around middle-class, soon to be middle-aged American couples. It feels somewhat similar to 'Lost in Translation' in that marriage is portrayed as not all good and dandy. Many characters with depth, a few humorous scenes, and Kate Winslet! |

You can get the DVD in Itaewon for 5000 won.
I got a copy if anyone wants.
It's not bad, has some first rate war-on-the-streets scenes with some original movements.
Overall a solid B. B+ at best. |

| I really liked the movie. It's nice to see a film where they don't feel the need to explain everything for the sake of realism/grit ( like Batman Begins). It was kind of like Star Wars, in that you have this fully developed world that you just take for granted and mostly don't understand and a good story set against it. It kind of was escapist in that respect, without being mindless. |
