Can't we all just get along? Yea, it's a nice laptop with some nice accessories. Yea, it's used and the price is a little high. Settled.

Actually Giant is correct, this is a fair deal. It's pricey, but you're getting a VIAO and a wack of extras.

I'd love to buy a viao, but they are way out of my price range.

@SuperHero,

Thanks for the vote of confidence. I appreciate it when someone knows what he is talking about. Smile

@spliff

This CPU is in a league of its own. If you follow the links you will see what I mean. Its not a regular CPU, its not a Centrino, its not a dual core.

Okay, you made an offer, but please... Even if we go by your formula, the price is right and you know it.

Lets see, 1/3 of the price off in a year, so that means that W2,346,000 and take away a third is how much? W1,564,000

So that is more than what I am asking, plus it has a load of more value due to the extras.

So please dont complain.

Well, we need to understand price in relation to what is being purchased. Yes W1.5 is a lot of money, but it depends on what you are buying.

This is not an ordinary notebook, thats why its more expensive.

It is a good deal for a such a small vaio. But it's pretty pricey in a forum of us cheapskate English teachers. And most people that have that kind of money to throw around would probably buy new. It kind of falls between the chairs, as it were.

I'm not going to try and haggle over price or anything as I don't really have the money for a high grade laptop right now (ask me again in July), but I want to ask what kind of Graphics chip does it have? An Intel GMA? If I bought a laptop with that, I take it I could easily play any non 3D games and 3D games at reduced options? I'm not into FPS much, but I do like warcraft 3 and the older infinity Engine games (I know it could play those.) Could it handle War3?

Hey there,

It has an integrated Intel VGA chip, so to be honest I would not know it would work on this laptop, but considering it has 1.5GB of RAM, I think it should run okay.

And of course the older non 3D games should work fine.

I truly appreciate your offer, but I think its still to low considering the price of a new one with no extras.

Tell you what, let me speak to my colleague. And I will ask her.

I will be in touch.
