Why shouldn't people post against you here?
Sorry to say, but why did you get the dog in the 1st place? Really, you accepted responsibility and took it upon yourself to get the dog, now you must live up to your obligations.
Too many foreigners here, mostly newbies, get dogs or cats and then just get rid of them like trash when it's no longer convienent for you to have one.
Are you honestly saying that your new job has 20hrs of work a day??
The plain truth is that you finally realized that having a puppy is alot of work and time. You want the cute little puppy, but not the mature responsibilities of raising one.
This happens too much here.
Sad. |
What's sad is when clearly righteous people think they know everything about someone and their past based on a few words posted on an internet message board. The plain truth is that you don't know this guy, but are pretending you do. 'Must live up to your obligations'? Christ, sorry if you're an animal rights freak, but they didn't have a kid, ProudPop.
If it's still available in 2 months when I come back, I'll be interested, but something tells me it won't be, if it's not already gone.
You might not want to sell it to me, though, because I might sell it to someone else some day, and I wouldn't be living up to my obligations. |

I agree with you, you probably won't live up to your obligations.
And as for 'pretending to know this guy', I never stated that, perhaps you need to read into it a bit more kiddo.
If you end up getting the dog, are you going to take care of it until it's last days? Probably not. You'll probably end up trying to get rid of it once your little hakwon job ends and you have to head back to mommy and daddy.
The truth hurts. |

Sorry to break up the pissing match here but....
The puppy is long gone, and has a loving home now with new owners. He will not be up for sale ever again.
As for the situations that happen here in Korea, I am not going to judge. I will say, however, that I was lucky enough when I was younger to raise some dogs and understand the great demands that come with properly training a dog. Some people get a dog and don't realize that, or run at the first signs of difficulty. Some people even know these demands with a certain type of dog, but every breed has its' own 'challenges', perhaps moreso than the breed that they are used to. Sometimes it is just plain irresponsibility, but none of us ever know the circumstances regarding the situation.
In this particular case, the puppy is definitely much better off. We can all be happy about that. |
