Yes, Bigbird can handle this, and I am sure you can handle an apology.
Remember, you may be viewed as indoctrinating your future child as well, so the coin can be flipped. I think the attack was a little kind of far.
I am sure you can see that. It was just not gentlemanly, and you are too much of a nice fellow in general for that, I am sure.
Awwww, don't have a cry! I'm sure bigbird can handle it. Not everybody is a sensitive little flower like you. |

I suppose. But the difference is that, as a grown-up, I don't give a flying *beep* what people on some site nobody ever heard of think about me.
And I'd rather eat my keyboard than apologize to that thug-worshiping totalitarian leftist big_bird. She has defended (or posted favorable articles about) Mao, Hezballah and Chavez among others.
You notice the food shortages in your boy's nation down their in Latin America bb? I told you so. Next come the gulags. |

Even I, a stubborn warm blooded person, will apologize when I make a mistake. Consiglieri and Mafiosi are not going to shoot you down if you issue a simple apology. You just rationalized why you can't make an apology to a woman for being kind of hitting below the belt. That's fine.
I don't agree with some things Bbird says, and I have disagreed with her, but if you noticed I will give people on the extreme right and the extreme left some slack, because I know the world wasn't made in m my image i.e. I am not Elohim, Jehavoah. It is easy to talk in an angry way and say our anger justifies what we post and that includes from Bigbird who never mentions the Sudan or the bad things Arab governments do as well.

By apologizing, to Bb for those words, you are not accepting her position. You could have simply said I apologize by the comment, but I do find her views to be repulsive and she knows that.

It wasn't particularly nasty. So, she is pregnant. Big deal. What did he say? The thread topic wasn't about BB, and they have sparred over stuff that gets more heated than saying kids are in danger of being indoctrinated. Plus, it was funny.
Sorry if I didn't get the memo on this one, but I fail to see how this was so egregious. |

Well you found it funny. So be it. Doesn't mean the world laughs at all the same things you do.....It was without class. Personal, not in the normal vein of just sniping but of taking some personal knowledge of that person (off board) and slandering.
It suits his character on this board, which is most times, to promote "hate" and lump humanity in one swath into the cattle car of "inhumanity". Always adding a little disclaimer but still swiping up those posts of "IMAM doesn't wash his hands before dinner" and all those deeper other stories below. That he would label someone as "extreme" in the sense that anyone who forces views of a child is, is absurd and just stupid. Especially when in all cases I see Big Bird only standing up for the downtrodden and never apologizing for violence and bigotry and abuse of all sorts, is dispicable -- whatever the rules of debate or my own "glasses".
I give my share of hard core statements and "mouthing" . What I DO NOT, is take something from someone's personal life and use that as in any even remote way, as ammunition for a joke and laugh and slander. It speaks volumes as does his reply. Which for the record of its stupidity, I will repeat.

BJWD, lots of food shortages in America the beautiful too. You only see black and white. I suggest a trip to the opthamologist and also too the gastroenterologist [yeah, look it up] . She never supported any of the above, so you are full of it. We'd all like a world of yours, without any balanced commentary and second thought but of course, it can't come true, nothing would ever live without the fertilization.
As Adventurer alluded, your own inability to apologize, only shows how hardened your skull and how unenLIGHTened.
