| I would say I normally like the coffee from Ethiopia. It's full of great flavour and most cuppers would agree that it is a great region for coffee--Has anyone seen the doc Black Gold??--but I recently tried a beautiful coffee here in Canada. I was in Kessington Market in lovely Toronto visiting Moonbeam Coffee there--an ever famous little joint--and Alan the owner had recently roasted a lovely bean from the Gallapano's Islands. It was such a sweet bean and mightly expensive. I bought some and use it only for my best guests. I think I paid $15 for just half a pound of coffee....eeek...but well worth the purchase. Not to mention it was organic and fair trade usually a must for me. More so the fair trade than organic. Organic is just icing on the cake. |

Pfffft. I grow my own coffee tree.
15k for a half a kilo of coffee? Just on principal I won't buy it. |
So do I, but at the rate my plant is growing, I doubt I'll be alive by the time it produces a pound a year. |

Best coffee I've ever had was Vietnamese "weasel" coffee. mmm
Right now I've got some organic etheopian, some organic sumatran, and some Costa Rican. I like them all! |
